Patriots Trade Chandler Jones to Cardinals For Jonathan Cooper, 2nd Round Pick

The New England Patriots have traded Chandler Jones to the Arizona Cardinals for Jonathan Cooper and a second round pick.
Jones was a Pro Bowler in 2015, after recording 12.5 sacks. Though his synthetic marijuana incident clouded the end of his season. Jones’ salary was set to jump to $7.8 million in 2016.
Cooper was the No. 7 overall pick in the 2013 Draft. The second round pick will be the 61st overall.
