Tuesday was a rough night for the Rivers family. Doc Rivers and the Clippers lost to the Spurs 107-86 and were outscored 37-17 in the 4th quarter. One of the main culprits in the loss was Doc’s son, Austin Rivers.

When Austin entered the game for Chris Paul with 2:15 remaining in the 3rd quarter, the game was tied, 64-64. By the time Paul returned with 8:42 left in the 4th, the Clippers trailed by 10. Rivers finished with 4 points in 18 minutes, making 1-of-5 shots and turning the ball over twice. His +/- was -18.

Meanwhile, on the Internet, Spencer Rivers, who played 16 minutes for UC Irvine this season, was getting into it with ESPN’s Amin Elhassan.

What did Elhassan say to besmirch Spencer’s big brother or father’s good name? Who knows. If Spencer wanted to fight everyone who pointed out how undeserving Austin Rivers is of 20-minutes a night on the Clippers, everyone who has ever watched basketball would be on his hit list.

So I’ll leave you with Elhassan’s mic drop moment. Sorry, what I meant was the rim’s Austin Rivers drop moment. You decide fam.
