Stephen A. Smith has opinions and is not shy about sharing them. He went on Sirius XM’s “Karen Hunter Show” Thursday, and while discussing race and sports, he let loose that he has a long-time feud with former NBA player Glenn Robinson.

Smith said the conflict stems from the fact that Robinson preached a pro-black agenda, but treated the one black coach he played for terribly. In Smith’s mind, that made Robinson a hypocrite.

"There is one particular athlete who is now retired, I despise him and he despises me…Glenn “Big Dog” Robinson. My issue with Glenn “Big Dog” Robinson was not that “OK he didn’t play well and he got $69 million” or anything like that. It was that I saw this man march lock step with what (former Bucks coach) George Karl wanted to do because George Karl getting paid $7 million a year. But Randy Ayers becomes the head coach of the Philadelphia 76ers…you treated this man like trash, but you’ll come and talk to reporters about how brothers need to facilitate brothers being hired, but you had one and how’d you treat him?"

Wow, that’s some pretty serious heat being directed at Robinson. Haven’t seen him go all-in on someone like this since his Kwame Brown rant.
