Jordan Spieth, the number one golfer in the world, met Steph Curry, the defending NBA MVP, on Friday night before the Mavericks-Warriors game in Dallas. Spieth is taking the week off and isn’t playing in the Arnold Palmer Invitational, which is good because his buddy Jason Day, who currently leads at Bay Hill, was a little worried the defending Masters champion may be getting burnt out.

Spieth and Curry are both part of the Under Armour family and have been featured in commercials together, but had not met.

"Via SportsDay: “It’s been cool being part of some ads with him, but just hadn’t met him,” Spieth said. “We texted last night, I knew he was going to be here. We figured we’d come in and see it.”"

Meanwhile, Curry and the Warriors crushed Spieth’s team 130-112. Curry scored 31 and Klay Thompson dropped 39.
