Jason Day Crushed His Drive on First Tee, Doesn't Appear Very Injured

Jason Day, who appeared injured yesterday after his first match, which he won against Graeme McDowell, in the WGC-Dell Match Play, doesn’t appear to be hurting too badly. On the par-4 first hole at Austin Country Club, in his match against Thongchai Jaidee, Day his drive onto the green. When Day’s ball finally stopped rolling, he was left with a nine foot putt for eagle, which he made to win the hole.

Golf Channel reported that Day said, after his tee shot, “I’m not going to try and force anything today, but I will say this, if I’m done for the day, I’m done for the week.”
