Michelle Jenneke Can Make the Australian Olympic Team This Weekend

Michelle Jenneke is very close to making the Australian Olympic team. Four years after she became famous for a pre-race routine, she holds her destiny in her own hands, and it sounds like a relief. Via FOX Sports Australia:

"“I think it’s really great that I’m actually racing well now,” Jenneke says. “I was quite good back then, but as a junior, and I got thrust into the limelight. There were some people in the athletics community who might say, ‘we’ve got better athletes out there’, so it’s good I’m stepping up."

Jenneke can punch her ticket to Rio this weekend at the Australian national championships.
