John Calipari: Come to Kentucky Where You Have a 51% Chance of Going Pro

John Calipari appeared on the Dan Patrick Show this morning. He took the opportunity to drop this gem about the percentage of his players who turn pro:

"“You know the chances of you being a pro are .011 and you don’t – you know, coming to Kentucky is about 51%.”"

I’m not sure that figure is 100% accurate, but his point stands. Sure, he’s bragging about sending sure-pros to the pros, but they still become pros. It’s a real chicken vs. egg vs. 5-star recruit debate.
