A.J. Pollock Fractures Elbow Sliding into Home Plate, Needs Surgery

This is a crushing blow to the optimism surrounding the Diamondbacks entering the regular season. Pollock had a breakout year in 2015, batting .315 with 20 homers, 39 steals and a .865 OPS.
Pollock previously fractured the same elbow in 2010 and had been battling soreness all spring long.
