Bryce Harper is the reigning National League MVP and it doesn’t look like the offseason has slowed him down at all. The 23-year-old slugger launched a home run to right field in the first at bat of the Washington Nationals Opening Day tilt with the Atlanta Braves.

Harper hit .330 with 42 home runs and 99 RBI during the 2015 season, while also posting a WAR of 9.9. It should surprise no one that the man who wants to change baseball homered in his first at bat of the new season. It was also the fourth time Harper has gone yard on Opening Day in his career.
