Doug McDermott was whistled for a Flagrant 1 after tackling Hassan Whiteside in the third quarter of tonight’s Bulls-Heat game. To McDermott’s credit, he realized the physicality of the play midway through the air and did his best to soften the blow. Nonetheless, this was a much bigger hit than you’ll typically see during basketball games.
