Nerlens Noel is just the latest member of the Philadelphia 76ers to completely embarrass the franchise as TMZ Sports showed on Friday. The 21-year-old power forward is being sued for destroying a home he rented last year outside Philadelphia.

The suit alleges that Noel paid $54,000 for a one-year lease of the 4,800 square foot home in September 2014. He then proceeded to completely trash it and then threatened the owners after he moved out. Not to self: cancel plans to rent home to Nerlens Noel.

The list of damages the suit alleges is impressive:

-“Splashed neon colored sports drinks (such as Gatorade) on the carpets throughout the home.”

-$30,000 in other damage to carpets.

-Extreme water damages throughout home.

-Clogged toilets filled with cotton balls and feces (side note: why the cotton balls?). The plumber who fixed the toilet told the owners the damage was so bad that, “someone must not like you.” Obviously.

-Broken elevator.

-$4,000 damage to the stove.

-Damage to the fridge, blinds, dishwasher and torn window screens.

The owners also claim they found marijuana all over the house, including pieces of the drug “in the master bathroom drawers” and “roaches from joins in the home.” Now that’s just a waste.

The owners further allege they asked Noel for $42,000 to repair the damage after he moved out and the next day a tombstone with the words “RIP” was placed on the front steps of the property. They claim Noel did it.

Noel has not commented on the lawsuit but he has asked for his security deposit back. I have a feeling he’s not going to get it. Just a hunch.

When you throw Noel’s actions in with Jahlil Okafor’s issues related to punching other human beings, Joel Embiid’s uncertain future and Sam Hinkie’s meltdown in written form, the 76ers are a complete mess. No amount of Colangelos is going to fix this disaster.
