VIDEO: Reporter Runs Away During Live Interview

Luke Harvey is a horse racing reporter for the BBC. Yesterday was opening day at Aintree Raceway*, so Harvey is very busy right now. In the video above, he’s doing an interview when he realizes he has to be somewhere else for another live spot.

So Harvey very smoothly sidles off camera, walks behind the camera and then sprints away. Stripped of all context (like the video above) it looks like a guy who is so nervous being near a pretty girl that he runs away. Luckily, the BBC annotated a full clip so we know that Luke Harvey does NOT get nervous around pretty ladies.

*Today is Ladies Day, the best day of the year if you’re into drunken British birds in insane hats.
