Tom Watson took his final walk up to the 18th green at the Masters on Friday. The eight-time major champion and two-time Masters winner was greeted with applause.

Last year, Watson spoke about the reason he’s not going to compete in the tournament anymore.

"Via ESPN: “The golf course is too big for me, and with my declining skills and length, I won’t be playing that,” said Watson, who hasn’t made the Masters cut since 2010. “The toolbox is kind of half-empty with the tools I used to be able to play good golf. Those tools are missing right now, or pretty rusty — rusty like me.”"

Watson almost left with a little magic. He finished at eight-over, three strokes off the projected cut.

Thanks for the memories!
