LeBron James Allegedly DM'd an Instagram Model Dating a Browns Player Before a Game

Jordan Poyer is a backup safety for the Cleveland Browns. Rachel Bush has 218,000+ followers on Instagram. Busted Coverage has confirmed that the 24-year old Oregon State product and the 18-year old Instagram model are a couple. Last night the couple sat courtside to watch the Cavs beat the Hawks.

Now, for the buried lede… LeBron James allegedly sent her a direct message saying “Hey what’s up!” at 5:50pm. Bush apparently posted a screengrab somewhere and Barstool posted it.

Of all the things for LeBron to do as he’s preparing to go into social media blackout mode, sending a DM to a random 18-year old Instagram model dating another Cleveland athlete an hour before a game – which he dominated) seems questionable on a few levels.

So there’s the possibility that LeBron slipped up. Or somebody with access to his account messed up. Or it’s a photoshop. Or maybe LeBron just likes to send personalized messages to fans who can afford nice seats – he is a businessman first and foremost.

Whatever the truth is, Poyer was still rooting for the Cavs an hour later and then the couple was featured on the kiss cam. Meanwhile, LeBron went for 34 / 6 / 6 on 13-of-16 shooting in a Cavaliers win.
