Nissan Gave Smylie Kaufman a Brand New Car for Mentioning Them During Interview with Jim Nantz
By Michael Shamburger

Smylie Kaufman had the lowest round at the Masters over Friday and Saturday. That achievement earned him a spot in the final pairing with Jordan Spieth. After Kaufman’s three-under 69 on Saturday, he sat down with Jim Nantz in Butler Cabin for an interview in which Nantz asked him about currently living with his parents and what kind of car he’s currently driving.
Nantz: “Do you have a car?”
Kaufman: “I do have a car.”
Nantz: “What is it?”
Kaufman: “It’s a Nissan Murano. It drives really nice.”
Nantz: “What year?”
Kaufman: “It’s a 2008.”
That plug earned Kaufman a brand new Murano courtesy of Nissan.
