The Philadelphia Phillies dropped yesterday’s home opener to fall to 2-5 on the young season. Most experts predict a long summer of trying to stay out the National League Central cellar. If there’s a bright spot for the franchise, though, it’s that the fanbase is still capable of getting passionate about its team.
That passion manifested itself in stereotypical Philadelphia sports fashion yesterday when some middle-aged gentleman had a Battle Royal on the concourse.
