The RBC Heritage begins on Thursday at Harbour Town in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Obviously this isn’t the Masters. There is no Jordan Spieth or Rory McIlroy, but there is a Jason Day. Not only is Day in the field this week, but a total of nine of the world’s top 30 golfers are as well. The Pete Dye designed course is always garnishing praise from pros.

This is also Bryson DeChambeau’s debut as a professional on the PGA Tour. DeChambeau had a very good Masters, until the 18th hole during the third round, and finished as the low amateur.

Not in the field this week is defending champion Jim Furyk, who is still out with a wrist injury.

My Pick

The obvious pick is Jason Day, but I’m going with DeChambeau. The way he played at the Masters was remarkable and I think he’ll do well on this course.
