The Detroit Red Wings beat the Tampa Bay Lightning on Sunday, to win their first game of the series. The game ended with a half-assed line brawl because that’s how playoff hockey works. One of the potential fights was between Tampa’s Brian Boyle and Justin Abdelkader. Giving up 6-inches and 25-pounds, Abdelkader wisely chose against dropping his gloves. He took a punch to the face for his troubles, but lived to tell about it.

When Boyle finally let go at the referee’s behest, he skated away doing his finest Bluth family chicken dance. His team may have lost the game 2-0, but calling your opponent a chicken is as close as you can get to winning the war.
