Johnny Manziel's Spokesperson Calls Him "Jonathan"

Johnny Manziel went to Coachella over the weekend instead of doing something that would keep superagent Drew Rosenhaus from dropping him as a client. Guess what? No. Big. Deal. Via ESPN:

"“I’m hoping to take care of the issues in front of me right now, so I can focus on what I have to do if I want to play in 2016,” Manziel said in a statement provided to ESPN.com and other media. “I also continue to be thankful to those who really know me and support me.”"

Translation? Rosenhaus is basically just another hater who doesn’t get that football players need to unwind in the offseason. Now that he’s done swimming in the proverbial and literal ball pit of life, Manziel is going to get back to business.

"“So many people only have one image of Jonathan, but believe it or not, he takes all this very seriously,” Manziel’s spokesperson Denise Michels told ESPN.com. “He’s hoping that he can clear up his personal issues, start interviewing agents and see what he needs to do if he wants to play this year.”"

You know what? Jonathan F. Football sounds like a starting quarterback. Now, I can’t tell if he thinks the choice to play this season is his or if he needs to find out what other people want him to do so he can play. I can’t wait to find out!
