The University of Georgia planned to stage a concert before their intrasquad spring game this past weekend. After announcing last week that they’d been unable to do so, they wound up getting in touch with Ludacris’s reps and struck a deal.

Via public records, the Telegraph in Macon reports that the university paid the rapper $65,000 to perform for 15 minutes, provided dinner for $40 per person for 10 people, and abided by this rider list:

"In Ludacris’ dressing room for the event, Georgia provided a multitude of items ranging from assorted snacks, six Hanes t-shirts, vodka, cognac, wine, tequila and batteries. The athletic association also agreed to stock a box of Trojan Magnum condoms in the room."

Either way, when the market is rigged to underpay the labor, there’s room in the budget for indulgences like this.
