Bryce Harper Takes Smithsonian Selfie with Oblivious Young Fan

Bryce Harper spent Monday wearing glasses at the Smithsonian because he’s more than just a pretty face and rocket arm. He happened upon a young fan wearing his jersey T-shirt. Imagine that, a Harper fan in the D.C. area. What are the odds?
Whenever these types of photos emerge, I automatically assume the athlete went over and said hello in addition to taking a picture of the fan’s back. The pain of coming that close to a sports icon without knowing it is too much for a youngster to handle.
A stand-up guy like Harper likely knows this and did the right thing in the interest museum-ing the right way.
