Ronda Rousey may have lost when she last appeared in the octagon, but Hollywood’s thirst for the former bantamweight champion remains strong. According to Deadline, Rousey has signed a deal to make movies with Lifetime. And so has Serena Williams. Via Deadline:

"Rousey has signed a three-picture movie deal to bring stories that reflect her passions about empowerment to the screen, according to the network. Additionally, Williams will executive produce the movie Sister Dance (wt), inspired by the annual dance-off competition she hosts with her sister Venus."

A Lifetime dance competition movie? I’m listening. No word on whether or not Lifetime has the rights to Metroid. Whatever these parties get together to create, I think we’re all going to learn a little about ourselves in the process. And I really hope that one – or all – of these films are Christmas movies.
