Kevin Durant Tells Women He's 7-Feet Tall

Kevin Durant is 6-feet, 11-inches tall. He’s been that height for many years, but until he let it slip recently, Durant – and the Thunder and the NBA – claimed that he was only 6’9″. The Wall Street Journal goes in-depth about players with inaccurately listed heights – including the incredible shrinking Tarik Black – but the real gem of the article is this line from Durant:

"“For me, when I’m talking to women, I’m 7 feet,” he said. “In basketball circles, I’m 6-9.”"

Nice.

Hopefully, this ends the era of players and teams lying about heights. It’s OK to be tall. It’s also OK to be short. The important thing is that you’re true to yourself!
