VIDEO: Ball Boy is the Minnesota Twins' Best Defensive Player
By Kyle Koster
Credit should go where credit is due. It was a fine running catch. But a few things must be mentioned.
First, fans need to pay more attention. There’s no excuse for not being able to react to a line drive when seated 225 feet from home plate. Secondly, a ball boy must make a clean grab if he decides to screen the paying customers by sprinting in front of them.
It all worked out, but this could be a much different post if he whiffed.
The important thing is that he didn’t, and is a hero wearing a batting helmet like some sort of modern-day John Olerud.
