Noah Syndergaard is pretty great. The New York Mets pitcher can hurl the egg at more than 100 miles per hour, has fully embraced his nickname “Thor,” and can also swing the bat a little bit.

On Wednesday night, Syndergaard displayed the latter of those talents, as he launched two home runs against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Here are both homers:

Man, he hammered both of those pitches…get it? “Hammered?” Because his nickname is Thor? Oh forget it.

Syndergaard is just the 66th Major League Baseball pitcher to have a multi-homer game since 1913, and the first since Micah Owings in 2007. He’s also the second Mets pitcher to every do it, Walt Terrell accomplished the feat in 1983.

In completely random stat news, Syndergaard is also the first pitcher this year to joing the 100/100 club, as he has thrown a pitch 100 mph and hit one 100 mph.
