Warriors Are Huge, Overwhelming Favorites Against the Thunder

The Thunder polished off the Fossils in six games to advance to the Western Conference Finals, setting up what should be a thrilling series against the defending champion Golden State Warriors.

They played one of the best games of the regular season in February, and it ended on a Stephen Curry game-winner from about 35-feet out.

The Warriors swept the season series 3-0. The last time the Thunder beat the Warriors was on January 16, 2015. Russell Westbrook had a triple double: 17 points, 16 assists, 15 rebounds.

If you’re looking to bet on the series, the Thunder are heavy underdogs. Despite having arguably the two best players in the series – not that I’d argue it; I think Stephen Curry is the best player on the planet right now, but somebody could put together a convincing one – you have to put up a lot of money to win peanuts on the Warriors.

Since that line came out early this morning, it appears money is pouring in on the Warriors – who have homecourt advantage and lost at home once all season – because here’s the latest:

Game 1 is Monday night at 9 pm (thanks for the early start time, NBA), and Game 2 is Wednesday before a three-day breather.
