Cris Cyborg Insinuates that Ronda Rousey is Running Scared

Cris Cyborg decimated Leslie Smith in about 80 seconds on Saturday night. For the casual MMA viewer, it would seem as though the three logical possible next opponents for her would be Miesha Tate, Holly Holm, or Ronda Rousey.

With Tate, the UFC women’s champion, there are some weight issues. Cyborg already looked gaunt getting down to 139 pounds for this fight, and she doesn’t sound willing cut to 135 for a fight against Tate:

As far as Rousey goes, it’s been several years that people have been clamoring for she and Cyborg to fight, and they’ve been beefing for just about that long.

However, Rousey has been largely MIA since getting her jaw broken by Holly Holm last November; she’s filming a Roadhouse sequel now and it’s still a question of whether she will return to the ring this year.

If and when it happens, Rousey vs. Cyborg would be a hell of a draw.
