Sammy Watkins Broken Foot Caps Bad Day for the Bills

Sammy Watkins, the third-year receiver on the Buffalo Bills, has a broken foot, according to Ty Dunne of the Buffalo News. However, the timetable for his absence might not be as bad as that sounds?

Watkins had 60 catches for 1,047 yards and nine touchdowns last season. Hopefully this injury will not cost him any of his regular season.

Earlier today, the Bills announced that their first round pick, Shaq Lawson, would be undergoing shoulder surgery; the timetable is also not immediately clear, but, per Adam Schefter, he apparently could be out as long as until November.
