Game 1 of the Cleveland-Toronto Raptors Eastern Conference Finals was predictably lopsided as the Cavs rolled, 115-84. The postgame wrap on SportsCenter predictably focused on the fact that one team is vastly superior to the other and will probably cause the mayor of Toronto to write another lame letter.
But just as North America was lamenting the lack of compelling action, a brave Cavs dancer shot his shot. Capitalizing on the moment, he busted out move after move as Stephen A. Smith said Stephen A. Smith things.
If ESPN wants to go out of the box to fill Skip Bayless’ chair on First Take, this guy would be a perfect choice. He has the big personality necessary to steal some of Smith’s spotlight and throw him off his game. Let him wear the pants, too. Those are sharp.
