VIDEO: Skateboarder Chooses Staying Alive Over Completing Trick

Let’s state the obvious. This skateboarder did not exercise good judgement in skating out onto a street with passing traffic. But his ability to identify his mistake and audible out of a trick may very well have saved his life — and front-end damage to a rare Buick.

Let’s again state the obvious. This near miss will have little to no impact on the frequency with which he wanders out into traffic in the future.

The lesson here? If you’re going to go viral anyway, may as well not die.
