Jason “Mayhem” Miller was scheduled for a title fight on Saturday in the Italian fight promotion, Venator FC. That fact alone is pretty wacky considering Miller is coming off two straight losses. (Which took place 4 years ago!) However, Miller managed to surprise everyone by showing up at 209-pounds – 24-pounds over the middleweight limit. Heck, he would have missed weight if this was a light heavyweight fight. This is impressive.

Miller has been replaced in the fight by Stefan Croitoru and now they’re apparently trying to find him a fight at light heavyweight because the show must go on! (The card also features former UFC fighters Rousimar Palhares, Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou, Matt Hamill, Che Mills and Cody McKenzie.)

What a return to the sport for Miller. Five years ago he was one of the biggest names in the sport, coaching The Ultimate Fighter, appearing in movies and hosting a show on MTV. He’s spent the last few years doing little more than getting in trouble with police. He’s been found naked in a church, been arrested multiple times (including once for domestic abuse), and live-tweeted a stand-off at his house with a SWAT team.
