The Oklahoma City Thunder led the Golden State Warriors by 34 points late in the third quarter when Russell Westbrook grabbed an enormous hot dog and mustard bottle. At full speed, he hit Randy Foye with a between-the-legs pass. It was spectacular.

A hard foul by Festus Ezeli prevented Westbrook from picking up an official assist on the play but not from becoming an immediate Vine star.

The Thunder jumping out to a 2-1 series lead would have been conceivable a week ago. What no one predicted, though, is the way Oklahoma City Thunder completely demolished the Warriors for 48 minutes. This is the same 73-win team that was anointed time and time again as the greatest ever during the regular season.

To see them thoroughly embarrassed like they were Sunday night was shocking. The reaction today should be interesting. It’s important to point out that Golden State’s goal was to win back homecourt advantage, which they can do on Tuesday night.

A one-point loss is the same as a 30-point loss in the playoffs. It’s tough to realize that in the wake of such a blowout.
