Josh Rosen was not impressed with UCLA’s record $280 million apparel deal with Under Armour. The Bruins’ star quarterback quickly put up a post on Instagram highlighting the hypocrisy of the agreement.

Rosen sent out a picture comparing UCLA’s deal to those of other major universities with the caption, “We’re still amateurs though … Gotta love non-profits #NCAA.”

The post was quickly deleted.

Obviously UCLA’s enormous deal with Under Armour was built on the backs of the school’s student athletes, and those athletes will receive exactly zero dollars of direct compensation from the deal.

Rosen is just the latest in a long line of college athletes to point out the ridiculous situation they find themselves in. It’s hard to argue with him.
