Minor League Manager Sets Milestone By Acting Like Child For 100th Time
Joe Mikulik has been acting like a complete moron for more than a decade now. The former minor league player has been managing in the minors on and off since 1997. His signature move is the ejection tantrum. Mikulik argues a call, gets tossed, and then acts like a child for a few minutes before exiting the field.
He rightfully argued a bad call in a game on Tuesday, but decided to throw his helmet which caused the umpires to throw him. Out. Of the game.
He then started doing the classic manager chicken dance gyrations in the umpires faces, slid into second a few times before eventually kicking it and an assortment of other dumb behavior. Can we put a stop to these ridiculous theatrics? It is a complete waste of time and accomplishes nothing. How is this allowed in the unwritten rules? Complete decorum and sportsmanship until a 50-year old wearing a uniform gets upset? Get out of here with that garbage.
Here he is in 2015.
Here he is in 2014.
2012.
So on and so on. Here’s a clip that was put on YouTube in 2006.
Just stop.
