Bret Bielema Uses Terrible LeBron James Opinion as Motivational Tool
By Kyle Koster
Like all good coaches, Bret Bielema looks for teaching moments outside of his own sport. The Arkansas Razorbacks leader has been using an example from the NBA as means to relate to a younger generation of players.
Okay, on its face it seems like that could have some meaning. Perhaps Bielema thinks James is too selfish (even though he’s proven to be a willing passer his entire career). Maybe Bielema thinks Curry has done more with his God-given talent than James.
It certainly sounds like something a smart person would say, considering Curry’s public perception is far more favorable. James remains a polarizing figure even though he undeniably makes his teammates better.
So what’s Bielema’s reasoning?
He doesn’t have one.
So there you have it. Sometimes Motivational Mad Libs ring hollow.
