Noted Thunder Hater Reggie Jackson Sent a Smirking Tweet After Game 7
By Kyle Koster
Detroit Pistons point guard Reggie Jackson did not participate in the Oklahoma City-Golden State series. In fact, he’s been on summer vacation since a four-game sweep at the hands of Cleveland in the first round.
Somehow he was able to steal some of the attention away from an all-time great postseason battle with a wordless tweet. It’s the quintessential 2016 sports story.
Jackson’s smirking emoji at the Thunder’s expense should come as no surprise. He’s been engaged in a very open feud with his former organization since departing.
Was it necessary? Probably not. Did it spawn way too much reaction from people who are #madonline? Certainly.
Jackson waited two full minutes after the final buzzer to send his thoughts out to the world. Perhaps a longer vetting process should be employed next time.
Then again, he surely doesn’t give a damn. His hatred runs deep and shows no sign of subsiding.
