The Muhammad Ali tributes have been pouring in from every corner of the globe over the last 24 hours. The legendary boxer was a transcendent athlete who led an equally spectacular life away from the ring. He was accessible and touched many lives. Writers have written beautiful words and iconic imagery of Ali has been shared to celebrate his life and legacy.
The Sun on Sunday decided to go in a completely different direction by pairing these words and this picture together on its front page.

Was this texted into the newsroom by a 14-year-old? This is halfway to filling an obituary with Crying Jordan emojis and calling it a day.
Also, it’s as if they tried to find the least memorable picture ever taken of Ali.
Interesting — and regrettable — choices all around.
