Luis Suarez is one of the most talented soccer players in the world but is perhaps best known for his habit of sinking his teeth into delicious human flesh. It’s a tough reputation to shake.
The only thing a guy can do is distract the masses with something else — the ol’ Don Draper “change the conversation” bit.
It appears Suarez’s plan is to have people focus on the fact that he waves like an absolute mad man.
The bizarre hand-wagging before Uruguay’s Copa America match against Mexico set the stage for a terrible evening. Not only did Suarez’s side lose 3-1, they were forced to endure the indignity of having the wrong national anthem queued up.
