Another Dull Finals Game Revives the Series

An NBA Finals series that had been kind of off is now by all appearances back on after the Cleveland Cavaliers smoked the Golden State Warriors 120-90 Wednesday in Cleveland.

This has been a bad Finals with nary a competitive game to be seen. The series itself, however, is now 2-1 in favor of the Warriors, a jump-shot-making Lebron James apparently making quite a difference for the Kevin Love-less Cavs.

It was another quiet night for Stephen Curry, who scored 19 on 6-for-13 shooting. The unanimous MVP hasn’t broken 20 points yet in the Finals.

J.R. Smith, on the other hand, hit five 3s and scored 20 to lift the Cavs early, while James (32 points, 11 rebounds, six assists) put the Warriors away.

Kyrie Irving added 30 points and eight assists. Game 4 is Friday night in Cleveland.
