An Angry LeBron James Scored One Point for Every Word on This Dumb Sign Taunting Him

Golden State Warriors fans were feeling pretty confident that their team would close out the NBA Finals in five games. So confident, in fact, that they decided it was a good idea to poke their fingers in LeBron James’ chest.

Fueled on by James’ audacity to complain about getting punched in the genitals, Warriors supporters banded together to brand the Cavs star as a baby — some going so far as to bring bottles.

Prop comedy will never die.

One young fan showed his disdain for James by putting every word he knew on a giant sign and then lugging into Oracle Arena.

If you’e keeping score at home, that’s 37 words. The sentiment is just barely conveyed with two tweets.

Clearly inspired to make the Bay Area crowd eat their words, LeBron dropped 41 points in a vintage performance to force a Game 6 in Cleveland.

If the Cavaliers can take care of business at home, the series will shift back to the West Coast for a winner-take-all game on Sunday night. It will be interesting to see if the crybaby taunts and trash-talking are on display or if reality — and nervousness — will have set in by then.

Perhaps a safer target like, say, Kevin Love, should be pursued. If for no other reason to remind everybody that he’s out there.
