The Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday, 3-2. Fans in the Diamondbacks’ pool did their part as they protected the pool from the team that broke baseball’s unwritten rule about swimming in the home team’s outfield pool after clinching a playoff spot on the road back in 2013. The Dodgers tried to infiltrate the pool in the 5th when Corey Seager hit a home run off Zack Greinke that sailed over the pool.

Interestingly enough, Greinke was on that 2013 Dodgers team that invaded the pool. Is it possible that he is still trying to help the Dodgers infiltrate that pool? It’s possible. Which is why fans have been protecting this pool from the Dodgers for years. Neptune has been paroling the pool since at least 2014. Last night he was joined by an octopus, 7 women in bathing suits, 2 sharks, 1 mermaid, 1 Castaway, 1 Wilson, 1 Gorton’s Fisherman, 1 fish, 1 pirate and various other fans in unidentifiable costumes.
