Steven Adams has become a wildly popular player for the Oklahoma City Thunder over the last few months. The 7-foot New Zealander broke out during the playoffs, averaging 10.1 points and 9.5 rebounds as the Thunder reached the Western Conference Finals. Now he’s been given a huge tribute in art form.

Fellow New Zealander Graham Hoete — who calls himself “Mr G” — painted an enormous mural of Adams on a wall in Oklahoma City.

Here’s video of Mr. G creating his masterpiece:

During the 2015-16 season Adams averaged just 8.0 points, 6.7 rebounds and a 1.1 blocks per game. Those are pedestrian numbers, but the 22-year-old center now has a massive mural honoring him. How many NBA players can say that?
