Jason Dufner, who we haven’t seen much of because Fox’s coverage has been focused on Jordan Spieth, Bryson DeChambeau, Zach Johnson, Rory McIlroy and Bubba Watson, is currently three over at the U.S. Open. On the par-4 18th hole, Dufner suffered an unfortunate break as his chip into the green hit the back of the cup and rolled all the way back down the front of the green.

Instead of walking away with a birdie, Dufner finished the hole with a double bogey.

It’s tough out there.

The first round has now been suspended after entering a third weather delay. Only 78 of the 156 players in the field have teed off. It’s very unlikely that a majority of the field will get to start their first round today. To speed things up, we may see groups of three during the weekend instead of the traditional pairings.

The current leader is Andrew Landry at three-under.
