Dustin Johnson currently ranks third on the PGA Tour in driving distance with an average of 309.5 yards per drive. It’s kind of hard to believe that considering D.J. can absolutely destroy the ball off the tee. He proved that on the 632-yard par-5 12th hole at Oakmont during his second round of the U.S. Open. D.J.’s drive was just far enough that he felt comfortable going for the green in two, and although he came up just short, goodness gracious he can crush it. In true D.J. fashion, after almost hitting on in two and having a birdie putt, he walked away with a par.

Good thing for Johnson he made a putt for birdie on the next hole after a beautiful tee shot and is currently tied for the lead at four-under.

" DJ's dialed in… He would convert on his birdie putt to tie for the lead. #USOpen https://t.co/1jaQRmEwLg — U.S. Open (USGA) (@usopengolf) June 17, 2016 "
