LeBron's Still Partying in Vegas and Stephen A. Smith is Saying He Could Leave for Miami or the Lakers
By Jason McIntyre
The Cavs aren’t done partying in Vegas, and the speculative fun (garbage?) has begun!
We should start with ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith, who just two weeks ago said the Cavs had “no chance” to win the series. Now, he’s “reporting” this:
Let me guess … LeBron went home to get a title, he’s pulled that off, but he wants to be a basketball vagabond and head to LA and put the pathetic Lakers on his back so they can win a Championship. Did I get that right?
LeBron’s going to leave the team he built to start another reclamation project? Yeah, I’m not seeing that happening. Wouldn’t it just be easier to trade Kevin Love?
For all the scrutiny Kyrie Irving has taken for his defense, he showed that when he tries, he can lock people down (see Stephen Curry in the final three games of the finals). Irving’s terrific finals cemented the Duke point guard as a Top 10 player in the NBA, and LeBron’s supposed to leave him?
This isn’t his first run in Cleveland, when he had nobody.
I’m not seeing it, sorry.
