Xherdan Shaqiri: "I Hope Puma Does Not Produce Condoms"

The France vs. Switzerland game was not a banner performance from Puma. Four Swiss jerseys tore and had to be replaced after minor tugs. New Arsenal signee Granit Xhaka had to have his replaced twice.
Swiss forward Xherdan Shaqiri, an agile, fleet footed garbage can of a man, offered the quote of Euro 2016 to reporters afterward: “I hope Puma dose not produce condoms.”
A similar attrition rate for contraceptives and STD prevention would be problematic.
The match was also an embarrassment for Adidas which had one of its tournament Beau Jeu soccer balls puncture on a cleat. Nike came away unscathed, though it has been unable to match a national team with its correct shorts color for two tournaments running.
