Iceland! That’s basically all I’ve got for this.

After Wayne Rooney put England ahead of Iceland in their Euro 2016 Round of 16 matchup with a fourth-minute penalty kick, it’s all gone wrong for The Three Lions.

Iceland answered back with a Ragnar Sigurdsson goal just two minutes later, then Kolbeinn Sigthorsson beat England keeper Joe Hart in the 18th.

Hart is having a rough evening. On the opening goal he stayed on his line when he probably could have parried the cross Sigurdsson wound up slotting home. The Sigthorsson goal was even worse. Just watch:

Hart was late with his reaction and, while he got a touch on the ball, couldn’t stop it. He could only watch helplessly as it trickled into the corner of the net.

Can England get it together and secure advancement to the quarterfinals or will this be yet another ignominious early exit from a major tournament?
