Eric Cantona Wants The England Job

England is looking for a new coach, after the Iceland debacle forced Roy Hodgson’s resignation. One Frenchman with deep ties to the English game has been mooted, Arsene Wenger. Eurosport put forward another, former Manchester United star Eric Cantona.
Cantona would bring more than a bit of coolness and confidence to the England camp. He has a spectacular beard. He did lead French beach soccer to three World Cup Finals and lifted the trophy in 2005.
Cantona promises to end the England goalkeeping curse and to stop Harry Kane from taking free kicks, which seems like swell places to start.
