Cameron Payne Hits Game-Winner in First NBA Summer League Game of 2016

Basketball is back! Cameron Payne, Russell Westbrook’s dance partner, hit the first game-winner of the 2016-2017 NBA season this morning. Payne, the 14th pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, was buried on the bench during the Thunder’s playoff run, but he hit a 3-pointer with 3-seconds left to give the Thunder’s summer league team an 86-85 win over the Magic in the first game of the new NBA season. With all the money being handed out this weekend, Payne should immediately ask for a new contract.
