Matt Mackrides of Major League Lacrosse’s Atlanta Blaze had to be taken off the field on a stretcher after a collision during a game on Friday. Mackrides ran into an opponent on what looked like a routine play. Mackrides lay motionless on the ground before being taken off and transported to a local hospital.

Update: Mackrides suffered a concussion, but has already been released from the hospital.

Neither MLL or the Blaze’s twitter accounts have shared any follow-up information, but Blaze assistant coach Spencer Ford tweeted that Mackrides is OK and concerned with making his flight so that’s a great sign.
